Is A Unified Europe Necessary?
Response to Alain De Benoit
Sovereignty in the Russian apolitical? French political, authoritarian and socialist? Sovereignty in the German Holy Roman Empire and pre-war American states? Sovereignty In the British and American individual?
The reason Britain leaves the EU and that the Anglosphere is incompatible with Europe is the common law makes individuals and the law sovereign, not the parliament, nor the state, and thereby forcing the people, the parliament, the state to exhaust all possible means of preserving individual and legal sovereignty before they can produce commons.
The French model that presumes her feminine authoritarian false consensus bias, and limited adversarialism is best despite her failure as a world power, failure as a scientific and industrial power, cause of endless european wars, undermining of all other european alliances, and postwar tolerance for Islam given the 1500 year history of its war on civilization.
So Russian authoritarian? French authoritarian unification? German, British, and American federation of states? France has been the PROBLEM for Europe. The Germans, Italians, East Europe, and Russia would readily organize if it were not for French attempts to undermine the greater German people for centuries and continue her long running program of first trying to seize papal then european power, despite being the most backward government in Europe, launching the authoritarian revolutions, and giving birth to socialism and communism.
Other than France the rest of Europe only joins the EU for economic and military reasons. Economic reasons provided by Germans, military reasons provided by the USA, and it’s despite the French authoritarianism that the rest of Europe fears.
The USA is very close to a second civil war that will result most likely in a restoration of her original design as a mirror of the HRE with traditional Germanic law as that law. Was preserved in England and never subject to the corrupting influence of Napoleonic law that deprived the people and the law of sovereignty.
The rest of Europe should fear a unified Europe that contains Paris more than it should fear a unified Europe that contains Moscow. At least Moscow works in Russian people’s interests. Paris does not.
So perhaps the French should look more objectively at the problem. It’s not that Europe fears integration. it’s that the French history of undermining european peoples, and the French authoritarian model rather than the Holy Roman Empire, British, and American model, is a threat to european civilization – as it always has been.
That is the cause of the failure of european coherence.
Humility would serve Paris better than ambitions to rule.
