Japan and Face

Western civilization is heroic (and we are the subject of worldwide ridicule for it.)

Honor (telling truth regardless of the consequences) is our promise we are NOT weak. And because we are not weak, peers rather than subjects.

We pay a high cost to create the high trust society we live in, and we actively suppress ‘the weak’, their parasitism, their behavior, and reproduction because of it.
