Leftism is an ideology or a secular religion, so we can use them as an example. Leftism offers the false promise of equality, and creates social constructs that deny basic biology and natural law, in order to steal resources and redistribute them arbitrarily. This is in effect, an organized resistance movement against truth, reciprocity, meritocracy, competition (markets) etc.
