I think you’re right in that we have all the pieces (Stoicism, Ancestors, Archetypes etc) they just need to be laundered of any “nonsense” and developed into something that holds together that people can use. Religions need a framework that contain the basics, and ‘communicators’ reform the message (narratives) over time.
