And they froze the re-enlightenment, gave birth to Napoleon, and destroyed the engine of european civilization’s resistance: the german princedoms.

The continental enlightenment is a COUNTER REVOLUTION against the scientific revolution. (Yes, really. All of it.) Only the British remain empirical. Only the Americans created rule of law.

The industrial revolution begins in England, where empiricism ruled because the origin of empiricism is the common law of tort among the germanic peoples. This further disrupts all civilizations. When we developed science to continue the scientific revolution, they developed marxism, socialism, postmodernism, feminism, and islamism. And invented Pseudoscience (Marx, Freud, Boaz, Cantor, Frankfurt). And we had our World Wars.
