The term “Authoritarian” can apply to any order but fascism was developed to combat the extremes of international communism and capitalism, by increasing the state’s take on the income produced by the post agrarian era (after 1900), but distributing it as commons which produce multipliers rather than privatizing it as political rents, financial rents, priestly rents. Fascism preserved nationalism, the economy, and private property, but directed it to the common good: modernization by concentration of capital in commons without expropriating property.
