WAS DRAGGING MANKIND ALONG WITH US A STUPID IDEA?

— Curt; Wasn’t this a really stupid idea?:

“to drag mankind kicking and screaming out of ignorance, superstition, poverty, starvation, disease, suffering, early death, and the chaos of nature” (that’s the question that comes to my mind each time I hear you say that) —

Of course, like the Chinese in the past, we should have, and should in the future, protect our science and technology, and ‘wall ourselves off’.

That said, our prosperity and innovation are unique in the world, and we benefit from it whether the world does or not.

The purpose of my repetition of this concept is to explain why our civilization’s organizing principles and institutions are superior – because they’re the closest to the laws of the universe.

And so we can’t ‘do the west differently’ if we want to maintain our advantages.

In other words, we’re going to have to mature the sovereignty-reciprocity, rule-of-law, trifunctional model – not something else that will cause us to fail like everyone else has.
