CONTINUING YOUR EXISTENCE
by Bill Joslin
In three generations (150 years), pretty much all people on the planet will not only be dead – but forgotten.
People – average Joe’s – who lived 150 years ago are pretty much forgotten.
What impact will you have on the world, during your life, which will still be relevant or even just remembered in 150 years?
The point at which the impact of your life upon the world becomes irrelevant and forgotten marks the point where your existence ends.
Unless you leave a mark on history, you’re life remains inconsequential, arbitrary and irrelevant – it makes no difference…
So, this adds a new dimension to why having kids is meaningful – if you can’t affect an impact on the world via action, you can continue your existence via reproduction.
