It would be much more rewarding to build beautiful structures, to say nothing of the furtherance of learning involved to do it. As beneficial as the “assembly line” model of building has been to economics, I believe it has been equally detrimental in that it has lowered basic educational requirements to attaining, and retaining, employment. Combine this with the governments takeover of educating our children, and you have the masses being minimally educated to do menial tasks.
