THE NARRATIVES WE BUILD

It is very difficult to both think very deeply about the the universe, the world, life, and experience, and not produce an internal story of wonder. That is why all of us that think deeply about the universe, the world, life, and experience do so.

That is, in no small part, because the alternative is too upsetting to survive with. Some of us see a vast, cold, dead, hostile, uncaring universe. Some of us wonder at its complexities. Some of us, but new worlds to conquer. Some of us all of the above.
