Finally was able to buy a subwoofer, replace its speaker and tune it to my needs so that I can listen to music as suits me. Subwoofer case ~$50, replacement speaker ~$25, tools $20. Should I have bought a the $100 version? Maybe. But it’s too big and this is one appropriately desktop size. So now I have desktop size and response.
I have a thing for the Bose sound. And this does it for me. I understand the audiophile debate. But I think, in the end, it’s just genetics – what we can hear. I enjoy the Bose sound. Whatever that means about my Genetics.
As a rich guy I would have just thrown money at it. As a normie I care. 😉
