Eric, let me know if you want me to contribute here I haven’t been following this thread and just caught on. My comment so far would be that math doesn’t map to reality that’s why it fails at the very small and at the vey complex. Math is just another language. It’s a very simple language with positional names, variations on one operator (addition/subtraction) and agreement on position (=<>). Worse mathematical reducibility is limited, while computational is not – at least independent of time. In lather words all mathematics is statistical, and continuous. Where the universe is discrete and occasionally manifests regularities that are mathematically reducible to expression in continuous terms. The failure of physics over the past fifty years is due to a failure to comprehend the limits of mathematics. The failure in economics is due to the limits of math. While n dimensional relations exist in semantics (current ai), they do not exist elsewhere.
