Never had a large screen TV die on me before. It’s only three or four years old. Samsung. Apparently it’s not that uncommon. I rarely use it except to occasionally stream from my laptop. I assume dust collection on the power supply in standby? Anyway, powered it on. Video for three seconds then dead. Tried all the recommended remedies. No good. Seems like this kind of thing shouldn’t really happen? And if so should be user-replacable module instead of tossing the whole thing.
