The future is here. a) he’s using twitter to create the ‘everything app’ similar to what the Chinese have – and we’re behind by not having. b) he’s leveling the playing field so that anyone who wants to pay is more invested in the platform, and gets priority attention c) and by making people pay, he’s prohibiting bots.

This is the platform we need.
Twitter was going bankrupt.
You can’t have free stuff without external costs.
The external cost is pandering to advertisers and woke activists. And that’s a detriment to democratic discourse.
So this is the optimum solution for the tech platform, for the content producers, and for the country.
Not paying doesn’t stop you from playing.
It just treats you as a lower priority indistinguishable from bots and trolls.
