Natural alliance between RU+IR or RU+SA is limited by IR/SA conflict, that only USA can mediate without destroying both.
Yes, something will play out there. But a weak (dead) RU govt, with ISR+SA defeats IR, and contains RU. US+ISR+SA geostrategy is ‘wait out dying regimes’.
