DAVID: Thinking: I’ve noticed in my writing that I use not only additional verbs but parentheticals whenever ‘fewer words’ would increase the chances of misinterpretation. This evolves into a behavioral pattern. And then I (assuming we) apply it outside of where it’s needed.
