I sense a change in the force so to speak. The Overton window is vibrating again

I sense a change in the force so to speak. The Overton window is vibrating again, and I’m not enough of a populist to comprehend it other than to identify yet another subtle change. It has something to do with ‘exhaustion’ of the population’s anticipation of the future?
