Truth: EU doesn’t matter other than USA/UK’s (typical) desire to maintain Anglo sensibility of the world balance of civilizations and power, plus US is trying to cut costs by restoring EU bearing of costs of policing world order they depend on. US/UK and POL as emerging power do.
