Andrew: We have known this since at least the early 80s. But it should be obvious that it’s a rent-seeking meritless bureaucracy selling the equivalent of Church Indulgences, for entry into the job market by EXCLUDING non-degree’d but not legitimizing graduates. It’s horrifying.

@andrewchen Andrew: Does this really need explaining? At what degree of precision? Incentives of Credentialism + Credit Expansion + Increasing students by decreasing requirements (esp non-stem courses for women) + diversity + woke + no warranty of fitness of graduates + ZERO feedback loop
