(b) RU pretense it can carry its ambitions to the closure of the european plain by restoration of western soviet borders is as dead as are RU demographics. They can tantrum a last ditch effort and take down civ with them, handing over RU to the turks and chinese, but that’s all.

@chrishaley32 UPDATE: some recent thoughts:
(a) RU considered Crimea (pronounced “Kreem”) a vital asset, but logistics have demonstrated it’s a vulnerability, eliminating value of Mariupol south – other than to impoverish UA. So now, it’s a matter of pride or more than strategic interest.
