Let me posit something different:
You can ‘mother'(infantalize) children, the young, and the mature by subsidizng their neuroticism
Or you can ‘father’ (adult-ize) them, by teaching them ‘mindfulness’ – so that they are unaffected by not only others’ opinions – but TRUTH.
