I’ll explain

1. I don’t have a moral (public) obligation to invest in someone demonstrating immorality by pretense of knowledge – just the opposite.
   
2. I do have a moral (public) obligation to invest in the punishment and prevention of immorality by pretense of knowledge.
   

In other words it is my moral obligation to defend the informational, normative, traditional, and institutional commons from ignorance, error, bias, and deceit.

It is not my moral obligation to invest in correcting you. Instead, I have a practical incentive to cause you to learn that you should seek to understand rather than assume you know enough to object to a subject beyond your knowledge and understanding.
