You will rarely find someone telling you that the reason you defeat a superior competitor is that last sentence: as companies age they maximize internal rents instead of maximize innovator’s dilemmas. This is why new companies defeat old: fewer accumulated rents.

@Lord__Sousa There is no business strategy that means anything other than simple economics, finance, and mastery of a ‘technology’ in the widest terms, that provides access to a market that ‘betters’ find unworthy until you are able to defeat their internal rent-seeking and outcompete them
