Russia proper had the same problem but Putin had two tools: (a) the chechens were not russian and like the jews before them were happy to prosecute russians, and (b) the internal intelligence and police services. So he could defeat the mob (oligarchs) and the ukrainians couldn’t.

@FaXistic It’s not so much that ukraine failed, it’s that it was the homestead, and the ‘israel’ for european jews because it was a borderland. So they went from Austrian, to Jewish, to Russian, to collapse, to restructuring, but had both the jewish and russian mob we call oligarchs.
