@fattylumpkin Thomism is a reaction to the classical restoration of knowledge (Aristotle), and his solution was that whenever science and scripture conflict, science is correct. Religion is wisdom. Science is true. We know this because if god created the universe, and science descxribes the laws of the universe, then those who wrote scripture were but fallible men who did the best they could at the time.
