3ofN I’m not sure the Christian church really progresses beyond Aquinas and the Scholastics. Again in retrospect, we can see that it is possible to unite Aryan and Christian. And that in the 19th century the Church failed to produce a reformer, as it had in Augustine and Aquinas.
