In the sense that tolkein inserted christian love , you’re correct. Even if he didn’t want to. He inserted Christian good vs evil, instead of order(good) vs chaos(bad). And he avoided the brutality of our ancient ancestors, replacing it with Christian conviction.

@aldafa_ir @philanthropic89 In his mind he was giving us the mythology of the anglo saxon prior to the norman conquest. Giving us our ‘lost mythology and religin’. That’s why tolkien is so desirable. the question is can we teach enough history econ law to restore possibility of that ‘religion’ of ‘us’.
