Now, I was raised during the 60’s and 70’s with the traditional pedestal respect for women, and sexual equality. But the rise in female mental illness over my lifetime,by the false promise of freedom from self regulation, child regulation, and freedom from the costs, reversed it.

This also explains why women who have enough children to produce cognitive and emotional load are (a) happier (b) fulfilled, (c) stable.
This does not mean all women are unstable. It means more than a third of women are unstable, and less than a third are stable.
