IMO the academy made the same mistake with AGW as the government did with covid: (a) too early to make a claim, (b) too hyperbolic (c) causing skepticism (d) then doubling down, causing people to convert it to a political then moral issue (e) invalidating credentialism.

As some of you know I was an investor in Project 2 Degrees along with Microsoft and Clinton Foundation when in 11/09 the ‘fudging’ the data info started to leak. It wasn’t until at least 2010 we had decent information. Sure, it’s getting warmer. Sure part us. Also astrophysical.
