2. I learned very early that games have to be quite a bit easier than you’d think, quite a bit more obvious than you’d think, because either reality is extremely dangerous if you simulate it, Or, simulating reality with modern tools and techniques is ‘boring’.

1. (software, humor) I don’t play games but I do occasionally pay attention to the work of game developers. Lesson: Yesterday the dev team behind Icarus (Survival) played their own beta and were almost immediately destroyed by such absurd imbalance that it’s nearly unplayable.
