Because we used ‘Aryan’ to refer to the language and culture of the European > Iranic > Indo-Iranic Spectrum, that spread from west (europe) to east (india), as far as the Tocharin Basin (Asia). So we say Indo-European now instead of “Aryan”. Just to avoid the Nazi-Curse.
