@Afterrthought@Counter-Currents I hope you’re right. Rampant anti-intellectualism, pervastive hope-as-cope, deep backward superstition, militant working class ignorance. All three working to destroy advantage of one another in the right wing crab bucket. The question is whether there is anything concrete enough to ‘sell’ to the center. And whehther appeals to the past without concrete solutions carries any organizing weight. If the next x years get bad enough then maybe a window opens.

And FWIW, and yes I want you to be right, the center in our history is the far edge in the rest.
