The primary issue with education is converting it from a young and ‘dumb’ to a mature and ‘experienced’ profession, taught by people with real world experience – and success – at high compensation.
Marxists wanted the young, dumb, and preferably female education – to fail.

Teachers and schools have negligible (single digit) influence on educational outcomes. Life is pretty much an IQ and Conscientiousness game. Every promise of the left has proven false … every, single, one. The military on the other hand uses discipline under stress. It works.
