CHina today is the largest exporter in the world, and lives off those exports. The china of the 1980’s was the USA. Dependent upon europe. The problem of exporters depends on the ability of customers to buy. The USA is the largest importer in the world.

Notice that conventional wisdom is always wrong. we assume the future will be a more intense version of the present. But discontinuity is built into the system. “Be Stupid”. when you become to immersed in complexities you fail to see the flow that develops – the deeper pattern.
