I can’t figure out whether or not this is some nonsense christian supernatural pretense that conflatesthe persian gulf, caspian, black sea, Doggerland, and north american floods with the mythical biblical flood.

The decline in human success prior to the agrarian revolution was caused by 1) the ice age, and the subsequent little ice age. 2) the exhaustion of major fauna because of the competition between climate and man. Pushing man into wetlands once again for predation on smaller game as the primary food source, and migrating game is seasonal food source.

The major floods caused disruption and migration in each freshwater region subsequently flooded by saltwater. There is no evidence of a great dying. Insteatd there was a subsequent incentive to develop new means of survival.

Humans are the cause of the great ‘Anthropocene Dying’ because europeans discovered, adapted to, applied, and spread technology that allowed humanity to exceed 1B in population.
