Mark, writing in Greek, borrowed and updated stories from Moses, Elija, Josephus, and Homer (Homer is the bible of the pagans: Indo Europeans), and transvalued the stories from Homer, replacing the old pagan stories. Borrows from Mark uses sources to fabricate a new mythology.
