The Chinese seek supremacy in defense and work on long time scales to achieve it. The Europeans in the past sought supremacy to better the condition of man compared to the despotism of the far east – without realizing despotism and superstition are necessary for that demographic.

There is a difference between supremacy: conquest, domination, rule; and Superiority: rate of adaptability, rate of innovation, demographic distribution, correspondence with formal, physical, natural, and evolutionary laws. The superior need not seek supremacy -except in defense.
