It’s more correct to say that Europeans (at least the northeast southwest cline) are a novel admixture (Race) of the most desirable traits of the (n?) founder populations, since light skin, blue eyes, light hair, height, digestibility of grains, and milk, are all preferential traits, that appeared to evolve in different areas.

Also, while the ‘economics’ of the steppe provide us with insight into the uniquenss of western cuivlizaton, it’s not until the Yamna’s descendants enter europe and start ruling local peoples that we see the civilizational component emerge into a political strategy.

Hopefully my eplanation of steppe life will make the western model intuitive because that narrative demystifies our origins.
