In my maturity, I’m fasinated (savoring) the difference between MacDonald, Duchesne, Spengler, Nietzche, Quigley, Kagan, Durant, Gibbon, Toynbee, and of course Hayek. And the subtle differences in our interpretations. And the complete lack of solutions. I think MacDonald does the best job of absolutely distinquishing between aristocratic elites (IE) and the common people as a perepetuity. And I think Nietzche underestmated the depth of his insight and how devastating it was.
Gods among men.
