Correct. And outside of Fairfield County – a tax haven from New York City – anyone white, with enough money to leave, and not on the state payroll, has left. It is a desolate genetic, technological, economic, social, self righteous, angry, nihilistic post-soviet wasteland.

Homeownership has been a disaster for people living in CT. Home prices are down about 30% over the past 20 years, with many homes down 50% or more. Meanwhile property taxes, insurance and maintenance costs have risen annually. Renters have saved a fortune by not owning.
