Yes the central problem I see is that german economy and finance is very vulnerable, and the French have the only viable military in Europe. France has the will to rule europe’s future (badly) and Germany has been undermined (feminized?) into needing crisis to restore confidence.

@GrayConnolly Only there’s not much “Teutonic” about this modern Teutonic core. The only thing the EU and this map have in common are border lines on paper. In reality there are not even borders.
