2) The chinese didn’t ‘do this to their people’, instead they failed to act quickly because of fear of punishment from Beijing (as usual). 3) My concern is the ongoing soft warfare duplicating that of the soviets against our research sectors, and the same against our economy.

@party_blanket 1) We have at least four competing theories making the rounds. These two theories can be intercausal – or not. Either one can be the cause – or not. However, the chinese are researching bioweapons, and (as NPR is reporting) the smuggling of the coronavirus did happen.
