He’s not the baseline for anything. He’s just someone else in the set of distributions across 6 generations. It’s just as likely your dad is on the very low side for some reason, while the family median is something like 115 but produces more outliers (like the ashkenazi do).

@Stomponato @JeremyTRussell Both. The 4/5 over 130s I mentioned were actually tested. The others are my estimates. I consider my dad average and put him at 100 and used him as the baseline. Fine if people think those around me are all smarter than that. That’s cool too.
