Again, you’re wasting my time. Random mutations occur by multiple means in every creature, and those that exploit niches (opportunities) that improve reproduction, and therefore tend to survive. That’s all that’s going on. Period.

@curtdoolittle @KSSS Evolution selects genes that are most effective in keeping their bodies alive, or more accurately the gene that is most likely to occur in the next generation. Thinking of evolution as the survival of genes, “exploiting a niche” fails to explain everything that is going on.
