Thinking trying to understand the disconnect between my thinking, my work, and the online community, and … how I’m misled by that online community.
My family is and was Puritan. Activist Military, Politicians, Puritans. Lawyers, Preachers, Businessmen, Craftsmen.M y family has been military since before the Norman invasion. I grew up with that influence. I grew up in new England in an new England family. I read military history and encyclopedias and the great science fiction, which was mythology restated in technological terms. Samuel Colt was my childhood hero.
I think I intuit (understand) military people in the pre-war sense of aristocracy, middle-class, and soldiery: as ‘society’. I do not understand military in the combined arms sense of a bureaucracy.
I understand Aristocracy, the constitution, and christianity as my ancestral ‘religion’.
The only people that matter are ‘men’. Men in the Military Aristocracy, the military and in the police forces, the sheriffs, and those of us who are already “every man a sheriff”, and the first responders. The rest are not ‘owners’ of the polity -they are merely operators, participants, beneficiaries, or parasites.
So that’s the disconnect. That’s what’s been bothering me with the libertarian community. What[s been bothering me with the online community. What’s been bothering me with the ‘whiny bitchy losers’.
They have no agency. Because only men have agency. And aristocracy from the monarchy to the boys in the luggage consists exclusively of ‘men’.
Sorry for taking your time, just trying to figure out how to go forward with strategy given what I’m learning as the window shifts, and as certain things ‘bubble up’ in my mind from the work I’m doing.
