I think the difference in my perception might be the number of military guys that I interact with, and the fact that my work isn’t accessible to the ‘dipshit classes’ of the disaffected.

Strange shift happening in that just over the past month more military and political rather than ‘activists’ are contacting me – and it’s by phone.

So I’m going to test it but I”ll reiterate that if you go to market with moral or spiritual messages you will attract those demanding moral and spiritual messages, and that will of necessity be people who have little agency. In other words, the people that are online, the christian right in particular, is shit talking nonsense. You need men. And men want MATERIAL not EMPATHIC returns.

What gets us attention online is a counter-signal to what gets a revolution started.

I went with an emphasis on incentives, not emotions. Harder to access. But then, like the wall street journal over a supermarket rag, you get the people with agency, not those who lack it.

So, I’m interpreting the world a little differently I think.
