HK is the door through which US dollars and Euros pass, and through which capital is fleeing china like rats leaving a sinking ship.
China is at war with our Constitution, more so than is Russia and Islam (and judaism for that matter). It’s intolerable for them.

We know China won’t spin off HK, and we know China will win this. If China wants to get this over without a lot more trouble, they could offer a compromise for HK to basically pay more tribute (taxes) to China in exchange for China backing off on extradition.
