Like many things, using the word ‘true’, just like the word ‘is’, functions as a convenient version of ‘sorta’: a common vernacular. An approximation. But if I told you this is the reason physics and economics are ‘stuck’ you’d place different value on the clarity.

@Nalo_Nei @FreePeterBiarM So just as we say the square root of two is a number ( it’s a function, and one that cannot result in a number without additionally supplying a limit for it), we say Truth is out there, when we discover patterns and state truth about them, thereby creating truthful knowledge.
