If this division of labor between rule (negative), government (positive), and leadership (counsel) is crossed, then it’s time to pull out the guillotines for those who both demand and supply the imbalance. It’s equal Treason to demand or supply it regardless of one’s class.

People want a president to serve as a head-priest precisely because they have none. But rule is a purely empirical, purely via-negativa, discipline – suppressing parasitism in all its forms. Governors provide commons we can afford. Priests provide leadership within those limits.
