Well, that’s rather dim witted, because it HAS been in decline since the late 1800’s and the introduction of Marxism as a revolt against Darwin, Maxwell, and the Industrial Revolution.

The underclass has been growing. We have lost almost a full standard deviation in ability. We have lost the intergenerational family, we have lost marriage. We have traded financialism and consumerism for the civil society. We have been displaced by the underclasses.

Ergo, society has been in decline.

It HAS been in decline since the late 1800’s.
